Diesel Generator Repair Services

When a generator set fails, the cost is rarely the repair itself — it is the downtime around it. This page explains how we help owners and their contractors diagnose faults quickly and identify the correct parts the first time.

Fault diagnosis

Modern electronic engines report faults through the controller. Reading the code correctly is the difference between replacing a sensor and replacing a wiring harness. We supply fault code reference material and controller documentation so your technician can interpret alarms rather than guess.

Where a fault is intermittent — shutdowns under load, nuisance alarms, or failure to transfer — the cause is usually in the control or sensing circuit rather than the engine itself. We help structure the diagnosis so troubleshooting is systematic.

Parts identification

Each export order ships with a parts and maintenance document set. Because our generator sets are built on Cummins, Perkins, Volvo, MTU, Mitsubishi, Weichai and Yuchai platforms, parts are identified by engine and alternator model and serial number, not by description alone. Quote the serial number when ordering and the risk of a wrong part drops sharply.

Warranty

Sets carry a standard warranty of twelve months or 1000 running hours, whichever comes first, with extended packages of up to five years available for purchase. All units are built under ISO 9001 procedures with CE / EPA documentation.

Frequently asked questions

My generator shuts down under load. Where do I start?

Start with the controller fault code and the visible alarm history, then check the sensing and control circuit before assuming an engine fault. Intermittent load-related shutdowns are frequently electrical rather than mechanical.

How do I identify the correct spare part?

Quote the engine model and serial number from the nameplate, plus the alternator serial where relevant. The parts document supplied with your order lists consumables by part number.

Do you repair generators you did not supply?

Our support is scoped around sets we manufacture. For third-party equipment we can usually help with parts identification where the platform is one we build on — send the nameplate details and we will tell you what we can confirm.

Is repair covered by warranty?

The standard warranty is twelve months or 1000 running hours, whichever comes first. Coverage is against manufacturing defects; wear items and consumables are excluded.
