A diesel generator set is a standby asset: it sits idle for months and is then expected to start first time and carry full load. That only happens if it is serviced on a schedule. This page sets out how we help owners plan and document generator servicing.
Planned servicing
We supply engine-alternator sets built on Cummins, Perkins, Volvo, MTU, Mitsubishi, Weichai and Yuchai platforms. Servicing intervals follow the engine manufacturer's schedule for the duty cycle in question — prime, standby or continuous.
For every export order we provide an oil and coolant maintenance planning sheet, a consumables list covering filters and belts by part number, and a maintenance log template so your team records what was done and when. Documentation matters most on multi-site operations where different contractors service different machines.
Standby sites
Standby sets fail from inactivity more often than from wear: fuel degrades, batteries discharge, and coolant inhibitors deplete. We recommend a documented weekly or monthly start-and-check routine, periodic load bank testing to prevent wet stacking, and battery condition checks as part of the schedule.
Sets run below their intended load for long periods should be flagged — low-load operation is a common cause of avoidable engine problems.
Warranty and service documentation
Our sets carry a standard warranty of twelve months or 1000 running hours, whichever comes first. Extended warranty packages up to five years are available for purchase. Spare parts and maintenance documents are included with export shipments.

Do you supply spare parts?

In practice, the most common causes are discharged or degraded batteries, stale or contaminated fuel, and control settings that were never commissioned. A documented periodic start-and-check routine catches most of these.
