Installation quality determines whether a genset delivers its rated output for the next decade or spends its life being repaired. What our installation support covers
Every generator set leaves our Yangzhou facility fully assembled and factory tested. Our installation support focuses on the interface between the machine and your site, which is where most field problems originate.
We provide foundation and layout drawings, cable entry and breaker scope guidance, ventilation and exhaust routing checks, and fuel system configuration advice including day tank and fuel return line arrangements. For indoor plant rooms we review air intake and discharge areas before the set is shipped, so the room is ready when the equipment lands.
All sets are built to ISO 9001 procedures and carry CE / EPA documentation.
Site readiness checklist
Before delivery, confirm the following with your contractor:
A level reinforced foundation able to carry the set's wet weight, adequate access for lifting and final positioning, correctly sized input cabling and protective devices, ventilation openings sized for both combustion air and radiator discharge, exhaust routing with proper expansion and weather termination, and a fuel supply with correctly specified return line where required.
Where a site condition cannot be changed — high altitude, extreme ambient temperature, or a restricted room — tell us before ordering. Derating and enclosure choices are far cheaper to handle at specification stage than after delivery.
After delivery
Our sets carry a standard warranty of twelve months or 1000 running hours, whichever comes first, and extended warranty packages up to five years are available for purchase. Maintenance planning and spare parts documentation are supplied with every export order.
Frequently asked questions
Do you send engineers to install the generator on site?
Installation is normally carried out by your local electrical contractor using the drawings and checklists we supply with the order. Scope of on-site support depends on the destination and the project size — tell us your location and we will confirm what is available.
What information do you need before quoting an installation?
Site location and altitude, ambient temperature range, indoor or outdoor placement, fuel type and tank arrangement, required voltage and phase, and whether the set runs standby or prime duty. Our RFQ checklists cover each of these in detail.
Can the generator be installed indoors?
Yes, provided the room has adequate combustion air, radiator discharge and exhaust routing. Ventilation and exhaust checks should be completed before the equipment ships.
Is commissioning included?
Factory acceptance testing is performed before shipment and documented for every order. Site commissioning is carried out by your contractor against the supplied procedures.
